The New Jersey Department of Health (NJ DOH) through its Maternal and Child Health Services Title V Block Grant is providing $120,000 for a cycle of the Sustainable Jersey Small Grants Program to fund health and wellness actions in schools. This cycle will fund thirty $4,000 awards to implement specific health and wellness actions in middle and high schools (including K-8 schools). Applicant must be a NJ public school or school district and be registered with the Sustainable Jersey for Schools program. Each registered school or registered district can submit one $4000 grant proposal. Grant funds must be used to address one Sustainable Jersey for Schools action. The list of eligible actions includes Programs to Promote Physical Activity.
