Wisconsin Community Grant Program funds innovative community-based projects that focus on prevention efforts or foster medical education support. Projects should incorporate the principles of public health and promote collaborations or partnerships. Examples of eligible projects include: 1) Health, wellness, and nutrition-focused projects; 2) School garden programs; 3) Health education and screenings; 4) Maternal and child programs; 5) Presentations or conferences that offer CME credits; 5) Programs focused on mental health. Preferential consideration will be given to those applications that include a letter of support from a physician member of the Wisconsin Medical Society addressing the need for the project and the organization’s ability to carry out the goals and objectives.
