Kimberly Floyd is an Education Content Producer for CATCH.

Kimberly lives in Katy, TX with her husband Tim and their cat Abracatabra! Kimberly graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a B.S.I.S in Early Childhood Education EC-6. While attending University she worked as a Teaching Assistant at the SFA Early Childhood Lab providing social emotional support to children 0-5 years old based on the Responsive Classroom Approach. After graduation, Kimberly moved to China with her husband for one year to teach Creative Arts at a Canadian school in Hefei. Returning to the states, Kimberly moved to Katy, TX to teach Second Grade for two years at a local school district. She served as a Team Leader for her team and developed the school’s Drama Club for 2nd-4th grade students. Kimberly is a published children’s book author and her first book, A is for Avocados, focuses on naming healthy fruits and vegetables.

When not at work, Kimberly likes to participate in many artistic avenues – including painting, drawing, singing, decorating, and cooking healthy meals. If she could travel around the world full time she absolutely would in a heartbeat.
