In January of 2016, CATCH Global Foundation partnered with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma to bring CATCH to 2,200 students in Guymon and Carnegie Public Schools in rural Oklahoma.
This initiative, the Western Oklahoma CATCH Coordinated School Health Initiative, aimed to increase physical activity and healthy eating, reduce obesity, and create health-promoting environments.

The initiative has yielded significant results in SOFIT (System for Observing Fitness in Instructional Time) data. Some highlights include:
- 140% increase in Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activity (MVPA) time in Carnegie PE Classes.
- Significant increase in consumption of whole grains (from .79 to .93 daily servings).
- Significant increase in water intake (from 1.8 to 2.0 daily servings).

CATCH will expand to Oklahoma City Public schools beginning February 20th, 2017 thanks to a grant from the Healthy Kids, Healthy Families® initiative from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma.
