We’ve updated the CATCH.org K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 Activity Packs with specific prompts and augmentations to reinforce the five Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) core competencies defined by The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL).

SEL is more than just a program or lesson. It’s about how teaching and learning happens, as well as what you teach and where you learn.
Among the hundreds of CATCH PE games and activities, we have identified 33 in each Activity Pack to specifically highlight how they can be used to address behaviors listed under the various SEL domains.
The Activity Packs also include a new CATCH PE Approach to SEL guidebook supplement that gives PE teachers the building blocks for structuring classes to practice, promote, and reinforce the SEL competencies.
