“Being an educator means you need to have the passion for helping children learn skills that they can use in their lives outside of the classroom.”
– Jaime Garcia

At CATCH, we hear from educators every day that their students are facing many challenges that impact their physical and mental health.

Given that children spend an average of 6 hours or more in school each day, it is crucial that we come together to support educators in their work to cultivate and sustain environments of health within their schools.

Educators like P.E. teacher Jamie Garcia, who says CATCH helped him understand how to create a more positive environment for his students, reducing behavioral incidents, and increasing opportunities for learning.

“My biggest success story has to go hand-in-hand with my first relationship with CATCH, because my kids went from a non-structured ‘recess’ environment to a more structured and higher quality instructional environment,” he said.

It is well-documented that kids who participate in physical activity and develop healthy habits are better learners and have better life outcomes.

At CATCH, we work with schools to generate these outcomes for students by helping educators become champions for children’s health by orienting their campus around a Whole Child approach to wellness.

This holiday season, we hope you will join us in supporting champions like Jaime, who are on the front lines of mentoring and inspiring our youth.

“I highly encourage everyone to become a champion by donating to CATCH so kids across the world can have the access to premier physical and health education resources to improve their future,” Jaime said. “Without your donation, this would not be possible.”

Please consider an end-of-year contribution to CATCH, and together, we can help all kids thrive in their minds, hearts, and bodies.
