Physical education teacher, Michael Kier’s, 7th year of implementing CATCH curriculum

Michael Kier, a 3rd-5th grade physical education teacher at Brookhollow Elementary in Lufkin, Texas, has passionately championed student health and well-being for nearly ten years and is now embarking on his seventh year of implementing CATCH curriculum. His commitment, which is fueled by his students’ curiosity and undeniable growth throughout the years, drives Michael to explore his creativity and reach students in new and fun ways.

With our introduction of Health Ed Journeys, a comprehensive K-8 health education curriculum, Michael found a renewed impetus for his teaching approach. Enjoy watching as Michael shares about his experience in engaging students in topics of health.
