Adriana Jiménez is the country program coordinator and translator at CATCH Global Foundation in Latin America.

She was born in Bogotá, Colombia where she currently resides and has carried out her undergraduate studies in Modern Languages at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Prior to her career at CATCH Global Foundation, Adriana worked as an English and Spanish private teacher with local and foreign students over a period of 5 years. During the years of 2017 – 2018, she worked as a volunteer English teacher and coordinator at Alianza Social Educativa foundation, a non-profit organization in Bogotá, where she taught children, teenagers and adults. She also gained extensive experience in the field of translation and interpretation, in which she worked as a medical interpreter at LanguageLine Solutions during the years 2019-2021.

Outside of her work and studies, Adriana enjoys the company of her four cats: Juana, Lucas, Gringo and Baguira, as well as playing board games with her family and friends over a good cup of hot chocolate.
