Bryan Austin is a Community Consultant for the CATCH Global Foundation. Bryan works to maintain our partnerships with the programs and communities that use CATCH.
Before joining the CATCH team, Bryan was a Prevention Specialist and Coordinator serving 13 counties in Western North Carolina. As a youth advocate, he helped build youth coalitions across the region and empowered them in changing legislative and non-legislative tobacco policies. As a presenter, he enjoyed speaking to parents and health providers at State of the Child Events and Prevention Conferences. As an educator, Bryan spent much of his time in the classrooms teaching students the importance of making healthy choices when crossing the adolescent bridge. This journey led him to teaching nicotine prevention utilizing the CATCH My Breath Curriculum. As a CATCH My Breath Ambassador, Bryan has reached more than 1,000 students directly in the classroom and trained many educators across the region to teach the curriculum.
Bryan currently resides in Lenoir, North Carolina. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, fly fishing, playing guitar, gym time and eating healthy foods!
