Matt Madsen, MPH, CHES currently works as a program manager for the Summit County Family & Intercultural Resource Center. He has been involved with the CATCH program for the last 4 years where he manages both the CATCH Kids Club as well as the CATCH Early Childhood programs in Summit County, Colorado. He assists the Family Resource Center with the CATCH Kids Club and Catch Early Childhood Coordinator trainings. Matt has been in the field of public health for the last 10 years as a health educator, community coalition coordinator and program manager. He received a Master of Public Health in Health Education from the Colorado School of Public Health and his Specialty Trainer Certification through the Colorado Department of Education. His areas of interest include youth development around the dimensions of health, the built environment and policy change.
