Scott is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor in education. He also holds his master’s of educational administration and principal certification from Houston Baptist University. He has worked with kids in many capacities over the last 25 years. Scott is currently an elementary physical education teacher at Campbell Elementary in Katy ISD. Prior to being at Campbell, he was at Schmalz Elementary, also in Katy ISD. He has been teaching in Katy ISD for the last 16 years. Scott is a curriculum writer for his district, a member of the district SHAC, and also is on the new teacher training team. Scott presents professional development at the district, state, and national level. He helps schools incorporate technology, classroom management, best practices in physical education, and coordinated school health. For the past 25 years, Scott has worked as an area-level manager for a standalone day camp company, Kidventure.
