Aarushi Dedhiya will be a Sophomore at Cumberland Valley High School. She is determined and excited to serve as an advocate to promote a healthy lifestyle and, specifically, speak out about vaping prevention. She has been able to spread her voice and advocacy through her county’s Drug and Alcohol Youth Advisory Board, the Youth Advisory Board’s social media (she started an “alternative for substance use” series), and from writing Opinion-Editorials on PennLive. In school, Aarushi is part of the Speech and Debate Team and Key Club. She also plays the violin, loves to read, and is a black belt in martial arts.
