CATCH Kids Club (CKC) is a nutrition education and physical activity program designed for elementary and middle school-aged children (grades K – 8) in an after-school or summer setting. CKC is composed of nutrition education (including snack activities) and physical activities to encourage active living & healthy eating. The CKC health program for kids offers an easy-to-use format that both children and staff enjoy and is easy to implement.

YMCAs, Boys and Girls Clubs, and parks and recreation organizations around the country have discovered that CATCH Kids Club is both cost-effective and proven to change behavioral outcomes. Many sites have made CKC the centerpiece of their programming and become an important voice in delivering a coordinated message to children about the importance of active living & healthy eating. Open time after school and during the summer provides an excellent opportunity to fill a child care need with fun, hands-on nutrition activities as well as enjoyable structured physical activity.

“The philosophy of CATCH really translates to more than an afterschool program. It improves the quality of life for everyone involved. The program teaches us to communicate better, live healthier, be more active, and have fun.”Andy Bohannon
Director, Parks & Recreation, Keene, NH
